QR codes could be especially useful when tied in with Foursquare if you want to make sure the person checking in and getting your deal is actually in your store. Most smart phones have them available for free, and two popular phones, the Blackberry and the Android have their own version. ![]() To access your code, the only thing the user will need is a QR code app on their mobile phone. QR stands for quick response, and by scanning the code using a QR code application, you are directed to the content embedded in the code itself. To your phone this is a portal to a website, video, social media account, or any other type of online content useful for promoting your business.
